A painted rock, is sometimes called a kindness stone, its simply a rock that someone has taken and decorated.

am sure everyone in Prestwick has stumbled upon a colourful, hand-painted stone, decorated by the fantastic Chris Rutter, one of Prestwick’s true gems! Chris has sprinkled positivity around Prestwick with her hand painted stones for young people and adults alike to find and enjoy for the last few years. These stones have sparked joy, friendly competition and brighten up peoples entire days.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
